room very small and noisy early in the morning due to double deckers right outside the window. Poor quality toiletries in a cramped bathroom with no sepatate shower. No tea/coffee making facilities. Disappointing for a 4 star hotel. Wouldnt stay there again

The staff was excellent! very informative and helpful from locating a charger for a Blackberry to recommending and making reservations at restaurants. We were impressed that an in-house deep tissue massage was available at a reasonable rate.

While the hotel and room lived up to my expectations, i was seriously disappointed that a hotel the calibre of The Clarence did not have Air-conditioning in the rooms. Even tho it was 10 degrees outside, the room was horribly hot and stuffy and not conducive to a decent night's sleep. Upon checking with reception, we found out that there were rooms with air-conditioning but those had to be requested. Who would have known or thought this?

Wonderful hotel, with great curtains that blocked out all the light, incredibly comfortable bed and great little touches. Not so much a design hotel, but more traditional, without being stuffy.

My room was first rate. Service was very attentive. The restaurant was good. Internet was expensive, odd given the other levels of service. The gym was too minimal - no barbells for instance.

I've booked rooms on Tablet for London, Rio, NYC and cape town and always found the hotels were consistent in quality. I was very disappointed in The Clarence....not as nice as the other hotels I've booked on your site.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful, infact they could not have been any better. We cannot rate the food in the Tea Room Restaurant highly enough, it is just wonderful and an absoloute must on your stay. This is a lovely hotel in a great location with fantastic staff - what more can you ask?

I was given a large suite and I appreciated the upgrade, but unfortunately the room faced on to the street (and the river, a nice view) but the trucks and buses that pass day and night along both banks of the river make sleeping difficult. The windows need to be sound proofed - at the moment there is no double glazing. It is also the second time in this hotel that the drain for the bathroom sink has been clogged. The gym is too small. The spa service not able to respond at short notice. The restaurant is good, but too expensive - although the service in the restaurant is very good.

Needs the re-furb!

The staff are friendly and the restaurant is excellent. The location is good.

The modern twist on an historic building, its plans for the future, currently with Dublin's review council.

The space in the suite (I had a one bedroom suite), the complimentary bottle of champagne/candle/chocolates, the high quality of the food, the REAL kindness of heart from the people working there (and from the Dubliners in general by the way!)
