“This place really exceeded my expectations and shoots to the top of my all time favorites list. The description provided on the Tablet website was spot on - it really is the atmosphere, the layout and the warm, attentive service that makes you fall in love with the place. There were some wonderful personal touches that enable you to interact more than just as a hotel guest if you so wish. For example, every night, on turn down they leave a post card that lists the next days activities which you can choose to join (e.g. snorkelling, trips to market, yoga... i could go on and on...”

“absolutly fantastic hotel but a long treck to visit anywhere else of interest in bali, we spent a lot of time in cars!! think the location should be made more explicit but it is a really lovely place and great value, the service was the best i have ever experienced!!”

“We were very disappointed in our stay, and even left early. The quality of the spa treatments was disappointing. Also, the food at the restaurant was too heavy and unbalanced. This was particularly disappointed considering the reputation of the restaurant. Finally, almost every guest came with children, which is fine, but we were led to believe that it would be a relaxing hotel based on the tablet description. There was no place for us to find peace and quiet at the hotel. We could even hear kids screaming during our massage at the spa.”

“The public spaces were nicely designed and maintained. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help however in the restaurant it took a while to get their attention even though there were many of them working. The food in the restaurant was excellent with innovative dishes using local food. The hotel is also willing to personalize the room to your taste before your arrival based on your requests which is a nice touch.”
