“Our room was small but charming, bathroom nicely updated, but the view was the best. One long window opened to a full view of Nice and the beach, and the French doors to the small terrace faced the Mediterranean. The location near the harbor entrance allowed us to watch yachts coming in and out of the harbor. Waking up to the sea and the sun, and falling asleep looking at the moon over the water was heavenly. Breakfast in the lovely outdoor patio restaurant was a delight. The staff was polite, very friendly and helpful. We felt comfortable and welcomed.”

“The garden room is located above the public dining area and did not offer much privacy. The only opening to the suite was a french door which was right out into the public area. Therefore to have any privacy in your room the curtain covering the door would have to be kept closed at all times, even during the day. I liked the hotel but I would never recommend staying in that room category.”

“The hotel was a terrible value for $300 Euros. The hotel right next door was half the price, brand new, same view. This hotel was obviously dated and tired with old furniture, mattresses and sheets. Bed linens were old and bed was hard as a rock. Besides the location being stellar, the quality of the hotel was comprable to a Comfort Inn. Breakfast was skimpy, lacking many of the fine elements that are expected for $20 euros such as Ham, fine cheeses, and hot food.”

“very pleasant hotel,excellent staff and food in restaurant was to a very high standard. would suggest that breakfast could be more inventive- fresh local fruits,tomatoes were missing from the buffet. otherwise a superb FRENCH HOTEL .”

“I planned our stay in Nice as a surprise for my wife. We had flown from Australia and were staying with family in the UK for 3 weeks for our Honeymoon, so the short break in Nice had to be perfect. It was! We were delighted to find on arrival that we had been upgraded to a Terrace room on the top floor. This gave us superb views of the Nice shoreline and skyline. I can't really fault the Hotel La Perouse in any area. The service was extremely friendly and the facilities excellent. Though it may have been expensive, in this instance you certainly got what you paid for!”

“Our only negitive comment is we had breakfast in the hotel on our first morning. There was no-one to direct us to a table, no instruction as to what was available and the selection of hot food was poor. We therefore didn't use the restuarant again during our stay.”

“the location is really good. The hotels rooms are OK but nothing special, the bathroom is real nice. The rooms are really noicy you can hear what the room next to you is doing. The staff is nice and extremly helpfull.”

“The staff at the hotel could not have been nicer. They were so welcoming and good fun to see every day. My trip was a mixture of business and pleasure but it was indeed a pleasure to come back to that hotel every evening. Dinner was excellent & I wouldn't stay anywhere else when I go to Nice!”
