“This hotel truly is unique. After staying in so many boutique hotels which seem formulaic and lack originality, to stay in a building where you are in constant awe at the brilliance of the architecture is a real breath of fresh air. And on top of it all is a deep red roof-top pool and a wonderful view of the Sao Paulo skyline, which at night becomes one of the most buzzing and vibrant bars in the city. The staff are enthusiastic, attentive and genuinely want to be helpful. If only all Boutique Hotel experiences were like this.”

“The roof deck pool was extraordinary. You're swimming in a long red mosaic pool surrounded by breathtaking views of Sao Paulo. There is also a good indoor pool with underwater music in the basement. The overal decor and sense of style was also very interesting and worth the stay.”

“Had a fantastic stay at Hotel Unique. Excellent Jardins location, tasteful internal design and layout and the exterior is quite astounding when you’re standing in front of it! Was looking forward to my arrival champagne and was not disappointed – nice glass of Veuve. Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with and check-in was very smooth. Had read others say that upgrades seemed common when the hotel was perhaps a little more quiet, same thing happened for us, which was nice. I think we ended up with a deluxe room which was a great size, nice amenities, lovely bathrooms and beds, functional bi-folding window to the bathroom. Food and drinks were top notch and the rooftop restaurant/bar and pool is just stunning. The basement pool and gym is great too, very relaxing atmosphere and the complimentary flip-flops are a nice touch. Would definitely recommend this hotel for leisure travellers. I’m sure it would be fine for business travellers, though given Sao Paulo’s horrendous traffic, something closer to your work/clients etc might be preferable. Also, hotel security is excellent.”
