1. “OK, I have gone to The Pelican Bar many times but this last time was simply the best. If you're staying at Jake's, ask for Captain Dave. He will meet you on the beach and you depart straight out of the sand. Have him take you up Black River, where you will most likely see alligators and loads of mangroves before reaching a little shack where a woman sells wonderful stuffed crabs and Red Stripe. Don't eat too much because if you let Captain Dave know that you would like to eat at The Pelican Bar he will phone ahead, early that morning to make the proper arrangements and you will be treated to a fantastically fresh seafood dish while perched on a thatched roof platform literally planted in the middle of the ocean...it really doesn't get much better;)”
