This is arguably the best place for brunch in Portland. The line can be long, as is the case with many brunch stops, but it's well worth the wait. One of the more popular dishes is the aebleskivers, which are Danish Pancakes (which are pretty much nothing like American pancakes but totally delicious). It's all good - go there and enjoy!

I love restaurants that serve breakfasts all day, but I find Broder to be unique and pleasurable in many ways. For one, their scandinavian base for their menu blends perfectly with good old Oregon hearty foods. I love their Jordbruken baked scramble with potato pancake. Perfect portions of flavors and heartiness. It went great with the aquavit bloody mary garnished with slices of heirloom tomato, beat, and cucumber. The atmosphere complements clean Swedish efficiency with good mountain country charm. To make the experience completely up to date, I was enjoying the free wifi while I sipped my cup of tea. They also had a vegan dish today for the vegetarians. Something for everyone.
