1. “1) Essex: Essex/ Rivington. Restaurant: Best just rolled out of bed hangover brunch. 2) NuBlu: Ave. C/5th, Bar. Good late night housey-jazz fusion. Small, a little dingy, nice vibe. 3) Rose Bar: Gramercy Park. Bar. Good vibe, good music, great bartenders. High-end but not cheesy (i.e not many Wallstreeter's or B&T)4) Lit: 2nd/5th. Bar. Divey smokey (esp.downstrairs), hipster ground zero in all its glory. 5) Kasimir:B/7th. Restaurant: Good eats, interesting wines, mellow, very french. .”
